“Expand Your Horizons” Video Contest 2012 Guide for Participants

Participating in an overseas work abroad, volunteer, work & travel, internship or camp counselling programme this year through a WYSE Work Abroad member??

Then enter WYSE Work Abroad’s “Expand Your Horizons” Video Contest and you could win US $2,000!

Here’s how to participate:

1. Create a 2-3 minutes video about your work abroad/volunteer experience. Feel free to use your creativity! Your video can be about work, play or anything that highlights your experience. Our judging panel will be looking for videos that are unique and creative in expressing both the fun and lessons learned during a work abroad experience.

2. Review the Terms and Conditions.

3. Upload your video to YouTube or an alternative video-sharing platform of your choice.

4. Notify WYSE Work Abroad that you wish to enter the contest by emailing:video@wyseworkabroad.org. Please include:

• your full name
• a link to your video
• the title of your video
• the name of the WYSE Work Abroad member organisation that you are representing (sending/receiving)

5. WYSE Work Abroad will acknowledge receipt of submissions that meet all contest requirements and which have been approved for entry in this year’s contest.

6. All eligible videos will be featured here on the WYSE Work Abroad Tumblr microblog.

Deadline for entries: 17 August 2012, midnight CET

The winner will be notified in early October 2012.
